Holistic Life Coaching
& Counseling
A reflective, unhurried space for the transitions, patterns, and decisions ready to shift — held virtually, at your own pace.
I See You
There's a feeling underneath the managing — the sense that there's more available to you than this. More ease. More clarity. More of actually being you, not just holding everything together.
You don't need someone to tell you what's wrong. You need someone who understands what that feeling actually is, and how to move through it with you.
I've spent over twenty years doing exactly that — not fixing people, walking alongside them while they find their own way through. Some of them had already done the work of understanding themselves. What they hadn't done yet was live differently because of it. If that's closer to where you are — you're not looking for more insight, you're looking for what to do with the insight you already have — you're in the right place.
I'm wondering, do you:
Know exactly why you keep responding a certain way, and still respond that way anyway?
Hold everyone else's needs before your own, without quite remembering when that started?
Have a decision you already know the answer to, but haven't let yourself make it?
Feel steady on the outside while something inside keeps asking for more than this?
If any of that's true, this is built for you.
You don't have to show up polished, healed, or figured out. Show up as your imperfect perfect self — because that's the whole belief underneath this work: you were never broken, and the parts of you that feel unfinished are exactly where the real work starts.
What This Actually Looks Like
You'll bring whatever's real that week. Sometimes that means tracing where a pattern actually started. Sometimes it means naming a boundary you've never said out loud. Sometimes there's nothing to dig into at all — just a decision you're ready to finally make, and someone to help you make it.
The breakthroughs here aren't usually dramatic. It's the moment you finally see a pattern you couldn't see before, and something in you shifts from understanding it to actually being able to do something different because of it. Awareness becomes choice. That's the whole engine of this work.
The Shape of the Work
Most of us believe that understanding is enough — that once you know why, the change follows on its own. It doesn't. Understanding gets you to the edge of change. What happens next is its own separate skill.
See it.
Most of what keeps us stuck isn't invisible — it's just unexamined. The first real movement is simply seeing a pattern clearly, without judgment.
Own it.
Not blame — ownership. Even the patterns you didn't choose are yours to work with now.
Release it.
Some of what you're carrying was never actually yours — beliefs, expectations, roles you took on to survive something. Releasing what's not yours makes room for what is.
Live it.
Insight that stays in your head doesn't change a life. This is where awareness becomes choice, and choice becomes how you actually live.
Why Coaching and Counseling, Together
Counseling is a bit like archeology — looking back, understanding how you got here, and where you're still carrying something from it. Coaching is more like architecture — you're ready to build forward, drafting the blueprint for what comes next.
Sometimes you need to understand what happened. Sometimes you just need to sit with what's true right now. And sometimes the only real question is: where do you go from here?
I don't split these into two services. I move between them, in the same relationship, whatever the moment actually calls for.
The Outcome
Nothing about this needs to be dramatic to be real.
Imagine finally recognizing a pattern you could never quite see before it was already running the show. Imagine holding a boundary that used to slip the moment someone pushed back. Imagine trusting a decision instead of circling it for the hundredth time.
A version of you that participates in your own life, instead of just managing it.
Sessions, Logistically

From there, we shape a plan around you: some coaching, some reflective work, some mindfulness practice, whatever the moment calls for. Ongoing sessions follow at a pace that fits your life, not a fixed program everyone moves through the same way.

At Embody Holistic Therapy & Counseling, we operate as a private pay practice and do not accept insurance. This intentional decision allows us to prioritize the personalized care and confidentiality of our clients without the constraints and limitations often associated with insurance coverage. By maintaining independence from insurance networks, we can focus entirely on our clients’ well-being, tailoring our holistic services to their individual needs. First-time clients are required to have an initial 90-minute session, which allows us to comprehensively understand their needs and set a solid foundation for their therapeutic journey. This approach enables us to offer flexible scheduling, comprehensive support, and a therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore their personal journeys with confidence and trust. This is coaching and educational support — not licensed psychotherapy, diagnostics, or medical treatment.

-
That depends on you. After the initial session, we'll set a rhythm that fits your goals and your life, not a fixed program.
-
Holistic means working with the whole person — mind, body, and the parts of you that don't fit neatly into either — rather than treating one issue in isolation. In practice, that might look like coaching conversations, hypnotherapy, guided meditation, sound baths, somatic work or energy work, depending on what's actually useful for you at the time. It's not one fixed method; it's an approach that adapts to the whole person in front of me, not just the “symptom” they came in with.

You don't need prior experience with coaching, counseling, or hypnotherapy to start — and you don't need to have it all figured out first. If you're unsure whether this is the right fit, reach out and we can talk it through before you commit to anything.
